Zoey: A Real Life, Real Pets Story
Published November 2, 2018
We first met Zoey in September when she came bursting into the clinic full of energy and excited to meet everyone. At first glance of this happy red nosed Pit Bull, you would never know what she has overcome.
Before joining her now loving home, Zoey was used as a “bait dog” in illegal dog fights. A bait dog is a submissive dog that is used to teach fighting dogs. Fortunately, this sweet girl was rescued, and today, Zoey is a member of a loving family who spoils her. Her family is so thankful that they were able to save this sweet girl from the dangerous world of dog fighting. Now Zoey can live a great life, safe from harm.
We are on a mission to celebrate the pets who bring joy to our lives every day. Do you have a story to share about your pet? We’d love to hear it!
Share a picture of your pet with @EssentialsPetCare with the hashtag #ReaLifeRealPets and tell us why you are thankful for a chance to be featured on our Facebook page in honor of Thanksgiving.
