Essentials PetCare Teams Up with The Little Cats’ Rescue on “Twelve Cats of Christmas” Initiative to Help Find Forever Homes for Homeless Cats this Holiday Season.

The ASPCA reports that about 3.2 million cats are placed in shelters across the country every year. With so many cats in need of a loving home, increasing awareness of adoptable pets is an important way to connect these pets with new families.

That’s why Essentials PetCare and The Little Cats’ Rescue teamed up for The Twelve Cats of Christmas, which is a community-driven pet adoption campaign dedicated to placing animal lovers with their perfect pets.

Starting on December 13th, one adoptable cat will be featured on the Essentials PetCare Facebook page each day for twelve days in hopes of finding a forever home. Prospective adopters can learn more about each of the cats and share the cat’s post on their own social media feeds to inspire others to consider adoption.

“Each of these cats has a story to tell,” said Essentials PetCare Chief Operating Officer, Christine Battista, “and we want to help get these deserving animals adopted and into their new home for the holidays.”

One of the cats up for adoption, LuLu, was rescued by a kind fireman from when she was stuck in a car engine. She is a little shy, but very sweet and would make the perfect pet.

“The Little Cats’ Rescue is thrilled to partner with Essentials PetCare in a combined effort to find these sweet cats a permanent home,” said Little Cats’ Rescue’s founder, RaeAnna V. Saks, “all of the cats are healthy, neutered, and are current on their vaccines.”

The adoption process involves an application, home visit, and a nominal adoption fee.
