Free wellness exam for military, police, service dogs at Essentials PetCare clinics, located in Walmart, Nov. 11-17
Published November 8, 2019
Current and former military or law enforcement canines visiting an Essentials PetCare walk-in clinic between Veterans Day and Nov. 17 are eligible to receive a free veterinarian-performed wellness exam.
Four-legged heroes have an additional reason to celebrate this Veterans Day week, with an opportunity to receive an exam and prescription for flea prevention, free of charge.
From Nov. 11-17, current and former military or law enforcement canines and medical service dogs are eligible to receive a free wellness exam, a $48 value, when they visit an Essentials PetCare walk-in clinic.
“Our heartfelt thanks go out to all of our nation’s veterans, members of the military and law enforcement who continually sacrifice so much to help others. With that in mind, we wanted to honor the brave canines who are working or have worked side by side with their handlers to keep others safe, as well as the dogs who assist those with medical conditions and disabilities.” said Dr. Douglas Spiker, president and co-founder of Essentials PetCare. “This is a small token of our appreciation, and we hope through this offer we will be able to help safeguard our country’s four-legged heroes in return.”
No coupon is required to redeem this offer. The offer is valid only for dogs who are currently serving or have served in the U.S. armed forces, in a local, state or federal law enforcement agency, in a first responder capacity, or dogs who are considered trained service animals by the ADA, such as seeing/hearing, therapy, PSTD, and seizure alert dogs. This offer is not open to emotional support animals.
Essentials PetCare operates six clinics, with one in Port Richey, Florida, one in Dallas, Georgia and four in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.
Each clinic location offers pet parents an array of veterinary care services for both cats and dogs on a walk-in basis, without the need to schedule an appointment. Petcare services include minor illness exams, vaccinations, lab testing and routine wellness exams.
